Imtiyaz Wani is hailing from apple town Shopian. He earned his B.Sc Degree from GDC Pulwama also B.Ed degree from university of Kashmir. Recently done masters in peace and conflict studies from Islamic university of science and technology, Kashmir.
He believes in the quotation like “Peace is not something you wish for, Peace is not something you can make, Peace is not something you do, but peace is something you can give away”
He worked as Co-Research Investigator TUFS- Tokyo University of Foreign Studies 2012- 2013 under project “ violence , trauma and rehabilitation – a report on India rehabilitation policy for Kashmir militants” Also Works as a part of the organizing team of “One Young Kashmir” Youth Leadership Summit, 2011 Kashmir’s first ever youth-led leadership summit.
Completed training workshops in strategic communication, Negotiations & leadership fellowship, administrated under the aegis of MERCY CORPS & Alliances for Transformation (RAFT).
